Designed by Japanese gardener Ken Nakajima, Setagaya Park Vienna emulates a Japan landscape. The park is heavily influenced by Japanese elements, with numerous ponds, streams, and densely cultivated plants and trees.
The rich plant variety at Setagaya Park Vienna transforms throughout the seasons. The park stimulates a feeling of deep tranquility and helps people find inner peace as they observe the exquisite scenery.
There are many interesting trees and plants throughout the park, such as ornamental cherry trees and moor bedding plants. Other noteworthy features of the park are the Japanese teahouse, stone sculptures, a fountain and a “Yukimi style” stone lantern.
Visitors can get to the park using the U4 subway or the D Tram. Nothing beats the tranquility the park offers. It is a must-visit while in Vienna!
