Madame Tussauds Vienna

The World-Famous Wax Figure Museum

Come to Madame Tussauds, where selfies are not just allowed; they are exactly what's expected and desired! The world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds has over 80 wax figures and an interactive experience all based on Sisi.

On Riesenradplatz in Vienna's Prater, come checkout the 80 wax figures at Madame Tussauds. In the enormous three floors of exhibition space, you will get to interact with important local and historic personalities, such as Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Sisi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Falco, Maria Theresia and Gustav Klimt. The experience is enhanced with interactive exhibits where you can take an intelligence test against Albert Einstein, conduct the "Blue Danube" waltz with Johann Strauss, or compete against football legend Hans Krankl in a penalty shoot-out.

The new "Sisi Uncovered Experience" reveals the unknown side of Elisabeth. Visitors take a look at a day in the life of the empress, using ultra-modern technology with 3D animations and sensory impressions of smell and taste. It's like you're right there with Sisi herself! You can also find many important international celebrities, including Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Angelina Jolie, Julie Andrews (as Maria von Trapp from "The Sound of Music"), Mahatma Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela.

These incredible wax figures take three to six months to produce, approximately 800 hours of work at a cost of around €200,000. This is done using more than 500 precise body measurements and about 200 photographs, all to capture the features of the individuals in the most realistic way possible.
