Getting Around in Vienna

What’s so great about Vienna?

There are so many amazing, beautiful cities in the world, but none compare to Vienna. What makes Vienna so special? Well for one thing, the city has been celebrated, eight years in a row, for providing its inhabitants with the best quality of life around. Vienna boasts a low crime rate, inexpensive rent, cheap public transportation, and holds its own in the world of theatre and the arts.

But Vienna, rich in history as well as safety and security, is also known for its amazingly easy- to- navigate transportation systems. Besides the taxis, trains, buses, and trams that are all rather inexpensive and accessible at nearly all hours of the day and night, privately owned cars, rental cars, and bicycles provide an easy means to getting around the city, too.

Add to that a centrally located airport that makes getting everywhere easy, and you’ve got transportation that is bar none!
Vienna also offers the Vienna Card, which can be used for an unlimited amount of trips on all modes of public transportation, as well as discounted entrance fees to select museums and restaurants. Being a tourist doesn’t get much easier than this!
