Come take a walk along the Beethovengang, and trot in the footsteps of Ludwig van Beethoven, a truly unique talent. Beethoven often spent his summers living in Heiligenstadt. This walkway, one of Beethoven's favorites, was named after him around the year 1864.
Get off the D tram on the way to Nussdorf and start strolling down the Beethovengang, winding along a stream as you approach enchanting vineyards. As you climb through the grapes, you will witness a breathtaking view of the city. A great way to finish your walk is a visit to one of the many incredible nearby places to eat.
