Shopping in Vienna

Specialty markets and general shopping

So much shopping! It doesn’t matter whether you want high fashion, sustainable fashion, dirndl dresses, stoneware and crockery, unique housewares, antiques, luxurious little trinkets, or fresh fruit, you can buy it in Vienna.

There are streets filled with boutique shops and malls filled with absolutely everything. Visit the First District and walk down the Graben, originally a ditch from the Roman era and now the site of the city’s most notable shopping. Check out the Second District for trendy, fun items.

Vienna’s Fifth District is blooming with new design shops. The Seventh District is also up-and-coming. Remember to look down side streets for hidden treasures! If it’s all too fantastic, you can even hire special guides and stylists to help you navigate.

Vienna is a shopper’s paradise, both for the stores and markets and for the inspirational daily fashion show in the trendy districts.

When you go shopping in Vienna, you must see: Stores are open weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00 and closed by law on Sundays and holidays (exceptions include souvenir and sweets shops).

In the category shopping in Vienna, you will find information About Vienna’s Shopping Street (Karntner Strasse, Mariahilfer Strasse), Markets (Naschmarkt, Antiquitätenmarkt Am Hof) and Malls (WIEN MITTE, SCS), etc.
