For a fun and rigorous day, come check out the Kahlenberg Forest Rope Park Vienna (Waldseilpark Kahlenberg), where you can climb, hang, swing, and balance on Vienna's most popular local mountain. This giant and unique experience has a total of 15 courses with three difficulty levels.
In total, there are 150 exercises and obstacles, with rope bridges, wobbly nets, flying foxes, and so much more. And you won't want to miss the spectacular view from way up in the trees. There are even climbing opportunities in the dark, where several hundred tree-hanging lanterns give the rope park a very special charm.
The pixie course can be visited for free, and young visitors can romp around and try out the course at a low height. Children under 14 years of age may only use the park when accompanied by an adult.
After you arrive, you'll receive a brief introduction before all the fun begins. You'll learn about the modern safety system and receive guidelines to keep the experience free from accidents.
The "Josefinenhütte" is the perfect way to end your tour of the Forest Rope Park. It's the ideal place to enjoy a diverse array of Viennese dishes. Another option is to take the short footpath to the top of the Kahlenberg. There you can take in a view of all of Vienna from the panorama terrace in the Skyline Lounge Restaurant.
It should be noted that this very special park is designed so that stations are secured in ways that avoid damaging the trees.
