Galerie Meyer Kainer is a modern art gallery founded in Vienna in 1998. Christian Meyer and Renate Keiner curated the exhibits and established the gallery center in Eschenbachgasse. Galerie Meyer Kainer is focused primarily on contemporary art and displays innovative approaches to creating sculptures, paintings and other more abstract artistic presentations.
The gallery is most famous for displaying the works of well-known artists such as Franz West, Hemo Zobernig and Yoishitomo Nara. Its new emphasis has been on the promotion and growth of younger artists, like Sarah Morris, Marcin Maciejowkski and Christian Jankowksi.
If you are interested in attending a concert in the area, Galerie Meyer Kainer has been organizing concerts in its Bolternstern Room since 2007. Much like the exhibit itself, these concerts are extremely entertaining and foster the growth of talented people.
